“About the Author” seems so overused. Let’s put… “About me”? No… Aha! “Who am I? 2-4-6-0-1!” If you can get that, you’re oafishly (sorry) officially my friend.
Who am I, though? I’m me, basically, and you can’t get more basic than that. My name is Liam, and I’m the leader of the Philosophers (or Phils for short). My a-Phil-iates and I make up a band of fictional characters of my own invention dedicated to making the world a better place. Scratch that. We’re dedicated to making the world a more random and abnormal place. This blog produces a post a day on anything in my head at the moment, the two topics most frequently written about being music and writing. My favorite composer is Beethoven, my favorite author (deceased) is a toss-up between Dumas and Tolstoy, and my favorite author (living) is Rick Riordan, as with the entire teenage fantasy-reader population at the moment. I also participate in NaNoWriMo under the username “dragonfirehurts”, without the quotes. My current work in progress is called Fathoming Egression.
Read and comment as you like; if I wanted my writing private, I wouldn’t have put it on my blog, would I?

/ September 22, 2011You should know that you have a somewhat twisted sense of humour.
Liam
/ September 23, 2011Oh, yes, it’s my greatest weapon.
La Stranezza
/ September 24, 2011Really? You don’t have a rapier wit, or maybe a large axe lying around here some place?
Liam
/ September 24, 2011Oh, I’ve got those too, but they’re only for backup. I stopped carrying them around with me after the axe got me arrested in airport security. Kidding.
Allegra
/ October 29, 2011Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m assuming you’re a teen, and I see you’re a writer. Would you be interested in participating in a monthly teen writers’ blog chain that I co-host? It will be happening for a second time starting November 5th, and the October chain was very successful. See this post for more information and sign-up: http://teenscanwritetoo.wordpress.com/2011/10/23/november-2011-teens-can-write-too-blog-chain/
Liam
/ October 29, 2011I am a teen, and a writer, and that makes me a teen writer, I suppose. I saw the topic for this upcoming month. Wacky search terms… I’ll try, though I’m relatively to blogging, and so have not gotten many search terms. It sounds fun. I’ll sign up. Thanks!
Nerdygirl98
/ October 30, 2011Hi Liam, I’m participating in the Teens Can Write Too!! blog chain and I couldn’t help but notice you and I have the same last name. Would you know of any relatives with the first name of Taylor by any chance? It would be cool to find a long lost relative. Thanks!

/ December 1, 2011Beethoven forever!!!
Liam
/ December 3, 2011YES! Finally, someone who understands…
Erin
/ December 3, 2011Thanks! Beethoven is totally underrated.
Liam
/ December 3, 2011Not on this blog.

/ March 7, 2012Rick Riordan forever! I love him along with the rest of the teenage fantasy freaks. I really need to read all the rest of his books that I haven’t read yet. I’m glad he writes a lot of books. This makes me happy. And I shall have to add you on the NaNoWriMo site. Soon. Very soon.
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 7, 2012Thanks! I’ll take that guest post. I must say, however, that since I don’t have my own email, I prefer to conduct blog-related transactions through NaNoMail, if possible. Since you’re a NaNoer, it would be great if we could do it that way. If you would NaNoMail me, I’ll get you that post as soon as I write it. Thanks again!
Faith Othello
/ March 7, 2012Awesome
Thank you. I think I have way too many email addresses than I need but only one NaNo account so I send you a message there.
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 8, 2012Thanks. I’ll respond presently.
Miriam Joy
/ March 10, 2012OH MY GOSH LES MIS REFERENCE YOU ARE NOW MY BEST FRIEND!
And you’ve read Chris d’Lacey’s books (he’s my friend’s uncle, by the way), and you’re an Artemis Fowl fan… we should hang out
Have to admit, though, not a big Beethoven fan. Not really a big fan of Classical era music. Love a bit of Bach or Handel, and adore Tchaikovsky, but most things in between don’t really do it for me. My favourite composer is probably Shostakovich (I’m a big fan of the Russians – Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, Prokofiev – even if it takes me several goes to spell their names correctly).
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 11, 2012Shostakovitch is so great! He’s the greatest! I love his eighth string quartet! It’s so darn awesome! I believe that after Beethoven my favorite composers are all Russian, starting with Tchaikovsky and Shostakovitch. Prokofiev is great too. I believe I must update this page…
You’re related to Chris D’Lacey? That’s so cool! We should definitely hang out. One thing I have going with other friends is a NaNoMail conversation, so if you want to send me something I’d be happy to talk.
Yes, if you don’t have a Les Mis reference in a couple of places, you’re missing out.
Miriam Joy
/ March 11, 2012Not related, my friend from school is
(And I didn’t believe him, so I managed to get an email to Chris d’Lacey and ask him if he had a nephew called Tom… and he did and asked me to say hi. Lol. I felt bad after that.)
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 11, 2012Sorry, I misunderstood. But still…
Miriam Joy
/ March 11, 2012Indeed, ’tis very cool. I made him a dragon out of clay, you know. Tom, that is, not Chris d’Lacey. He was very nice about it. It’s called Zanna, and even four and a half years later he still keeps it next to the Gadzooks model that his uncle gave him.
I still have an abnormally large dragon collection…
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 11, 2012No! You’ve got to name it with a G name! No Z’s! That’s going to make it go to sleep on you! Name it something like… Ah, I don’t know, but something with a G.
Miriam Joy
/ March 12, 2012Ha ha, my dragon is very different to all the others. It’s black, for a start, and much smaller. Also, her wing kept falling off. *sigh*
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 12, 2012Well, since it’s black, I suppose you’ve got to name it Zanna.
Miriam Joy
/ March 12, 2012Yes, that was the thinking behind it, I think. It’s black, and the wings are grey with black edges and ridges (I was never very good at them). Her spine is grey too, as are her little horns. She’s standing/sitting on a rock. I made her as a copy of a dragon I own (which is called Moira).
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 12, 2012I wish I owned even one dragon model, but then again, I don’t. I tend not to like the ones I see because they don’t match my mental picture.
Miriam Joy
/ March 12, 2012Moira is my favourite, certainly. I have Moira, Bartimaeus, Aderyn, Snowfire and a couple of others whose names I have forgotten that I bought or was given, and then Jenny that I made, and another one which I made but I’ve forgotten the name of… yeah. I’m good at this whole thing.
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 12, 2012But no G names! Have you read the Last Dragon Chronicles? I’m not sure…
Miriam Joy
/ March 12, 2012I have indeed. And there’s a G there … isn’t there? No? Oh, okay. Mehhh. I’m sure one of them was a G (probably one of the many I cannot remember), but I couldn’t think up many names
I named Moira before I read them, actually – we’re going back a long way now!
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 12, 2012Oh, well, doesn’t matter that much. I just try to make my mental picture of the species of dragon line up with as many accounts as I can. Thus, my dragons have G names (Gologer, for example, though his children don’t have them).
Miriam Joy
/ March 12, 2012You should see my dragon collection, they’re very eclectic and I’m pretty sure there aren’t many species there. Unless ‘resin’, ‘clay’ and ‘beads’ are separate species *snorts*
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 12, 2012Well, all dragons are dragons, no matter what they’re made of. Some are just better than others, being the full-sized beasts they are.
Erin
/ March 11, 2012You guys are forgetting about the greatest Russian composer ever – Rachmaninoff!! How could you forget about him?? His Preludes in C# minor and G minor are ingenious! Though they are more fun to listen to than to play. I had to perform both for piano competitions, and I worked so long on the pieces, I’m really starting to hate playing them. But still, Rachmaninoff was a genius!
E.W. Soper
/ March 20, 2012Hey, I like your blog so I nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award (http://versatilebloggeraward.wordpress.com/). I link to you in my post: http://blog.sopoweredproductions.com/2012/03/20/technically-heroic-an-authors-adventure-has-been-deemed-versatile/#more-508

/ May 9, 2012Les Mis reference.
YES.
Love the blog, by the way. It’s nice to see that there are other teenagers thinking critically and writing really well about important/profound stuff (as well as some not-so-important/profound stuff). Gives me hope for humanity!
Liam, Head Phil
/ May 9, 2012Indeed. It’s interesting how many people really like something so misérable…
Thanks! I’ll return the favor and drop by yours.

/ May 25, 2012Hey Liam! It’s me, Alyssa; yes, from Phil, and no, not from your group of characters. It’s so cool how you have this whole website and everything–I love your excerpts too. A-maze-ing!!

/ May 26, 2012‘Allo. Thanks for popping by.

/ June 2, 2012Hey Liam, I’m eshy. I believe you know me. Or of me rather. I dunno. Maybe both. Anywho I’m wondering if you’d like to help me out with something I’m planning for my blog, eshysletters, please get back to me as soon as possible. -with love or hate(not sure which), eshy,
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 2, 2012My dear “eshy”,
You’ve come by here before, so yes, I know you. I also subscribe to your blog, so I know you in two respects.
I’d be happy to help with whatever you wish, if it’s within my power. I would like to know what exactly I’m helping with, however.
Cordially,
Liam, Head Phil
eshy
/ June 2, 2012Liam, it’s a contest on my blog that would involve your blog. May I email you? Or you can email me. As I don’t know/can’t find(I tried) your email. -with love(I decided), eshy,
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 2, 2012Are you part of NaNoWriMo? I prefer to conduct my transactions there, rather than over email. If so, that would be great. If not, we’ll have to make do.
Hopefully,
Liam, Head Phil
eshy
/ June 3, 2012Oh, yes, I’m eshydog2 on there. I’ll try to find you and PM you.
Fingers crossed, eshy,

/ June 8, 2012Hello, for the book I’m creating, you’re going to be listed as being one of the authors, what would you like your name to be? -Respond soon, eshy,
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 8, 2012Liam, Head Phil.
I prefer that alibi.
eshy
/ June 8, 2012Okie doke. I’m going to see if I can still change it without messing up my cover. If I can’t then on the cover you’re going to be “Liam”, is that okay?
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 9, 2012Yeah, that’s fine.
nevillegirl
/ June 14, 2012Cool! I imagined that you had glasses!
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 14, 2012I think I’ve let it slip a few times…
nevillegirl
/ June 15, 2012Probably… but I imagined that you looked more like Artemis Fowl, with the mirrored sunglasses.
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 15, 2012I suppose I could pull that one off… The Italian-style slicked-back black hair doesn’t really work for me, though.
anotherrandomface
/ June 21, 2012Hey I PMed you all the details for the contest. Please look at it really soon. Like now. Sorry, I don’t want to be bossy but you kinda um need to. PLEASE. Okay, well thanks. Just thought I’d let you know so you know to check your inbox. Note: read both PMs
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 21, 2012I already did, and replied to both. Right back at you.

/ June 21, 2012ahhh this is eshy on my other blog, I forgot to switch users. Sorry!
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 21, 2012I figured.

/ June 23, 2012You are offically cool. I love Rick Riordan too and I keep running into books that you referance and that I have read! The only problem is your cello… as a violinist I dont know I I should be ssen talking to you…
Liam, Head Phil
/ June 23, 2012I’m glad you enjoy the same things I do. As for the cello thing… I don’t own a cello. I have openly declared, on multiple occasions, my animosity towards cellists in general. So I’d say you’re perfectly fine. (My main instrument is piano, so even if I was a cellist you could use that as an excuse.)
Robyn Hoode
/ February 13, 2013You play piano?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013That I do.

/ July 12, 20122-4-6-0-1! Love it! My husband and I have seen Les Miz 8 times. We took our boys to see it here in Atlanta in April, and it will comfort them to know they are not the only people under 30 who like it. Congrats on your blog–well done.
Liam, Head Phil
/ July 12, 2012Thank you for stopping by!
Astrid
/ July 17, 2012i love Dumas! nice to know someone else has read his books! once when i said i enjoyed reading the three musketeers (and the rest of the series) some people said ‘there are books?’….
i love adventure books (although i like it when they also have fantasy…love dragons). re composers, again, nice that other people like other music not just pop, rock or jazz. i do really like beethoven although i must say i prefer early music (i absolutely love baroque music, esp. Vivaldi)….
what was that about animosity towards cellists? why? its such a beautiful instrument!
Liam, Head Phil
/ July 17, 2012I’m happy to find a “kindred spirit”. As for the cello thing… It’s all a huge joke. I love celli. Cellists aren’t bad either. On this blog, however, I may have constructed the illusion of hating celli and their players. It’s all in good fun; please don’t judge me by it as so many other cellists have already. I’d appreciate it.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 13, 2013Is the plural of cello really celli?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013Yes, it is.
Emily
/ July 19, 2012Hi, Liam! It’s Emily, the other bassist from Philharmonia last year. Keri mentioned your blog a couple of weeks ago at summer camp, so I thought I’d stop by, and now that I’m here, I have to say – this is awesome.
Also, congratulations on getting accepted into YS.
Liam, Head Phil

/ August 23, 2012Liam! I found a cool link about naming fantasy characters I thought you might like, but I don’t want the machine to think I’m spam and I can’t remember how to email you…Help?
Liam, Head Phil
/ August 23, 2012Stranezza! I don’t like to get emails, so perhaps you could just go through NaNoMail like the rest of the world! If you need a reminder, I’m dragonfirehurts on the NaNoWriMo and YWP sites. You know what, just check your NaNoMail after you read this.
La Stranezza
/ August 23, 2012Ah…I always forget you’re a person on there. So sorry.
Liam, Head Phil
/ August 23, 2012No, I forget you’re a person too. I always assume you’re a robot, then I’m terribly disappointed when I realize that you can’t blow something up for me… So think nothing of it.
La Stranezza
/ August 23, 2012I wish I could blow things up. That would be so cool.
Liam, Head Phil
/ August 23, 2012And to think, I’ve gone my whole blogging life (*shudder* I almost said “clogging” there) thinking that you were an awesome robot thingy…
La Stranezza
/ August 23, 2012It was a Freudian slip: You have an unfilled desire to clog with robots. You’re weird.
Liam, Head Phil
/ August 23, 2012Well, I already knew that.

Liam, Head Phil
/ September 4, 2012Hey, I’d love to accept, but I’ve already received that award. Twice. And I believe I’ve been nominated another time on top of that, so you make the fourth nomination… or something like that. Sorry– I’d love to oblige, and I’ll still check out the post, but I can’t accept.

/ December 10, 2012Love Beethoven! And your blog! All these exclamation points are making me cringe!
(I don’t know what happened to classical music. It’s like someone just shoved a bow-tie on it and suddenly it’s only allowed to be heard by sophisticated people. At Carnegie Hall. Whilst wearing a suit. )
Anyway, one teen to another, you have any tips on writing (blogging, school) for this young grasshopper (me)?
P.S Any good books you’ve read lately? I’m running dry in the reading department.
Liam, Head Phil
/ December 10, 2012High five! I actually did listen to classical music in Carnegie Hall about a week ago, but I didn’t like much of it. Beethoven on my iPod is better.
All I can say is follow my blog and comment regularly. That way I get to know you and get to know your preferences, and can possibly answer questions you have. The blog is mainly for writing down things I just learned about writing, so a lot can be gleaned from those posts (I hope). For tips on blogging, if you go to this post– http://insideliamsbrain.wordpress.com/tips-for-life/tips-on-practical-things/how-to-gain-followers-comments-and-views/ –you should be able to learn a few things that you might already know. Thanks for joining me!
kittipurrik
/ December 12, 2012Ahhhh can I be your friend?
I’m not nearly as good as a writer; I just started out with this blogging business a week or so ago.
And my stories are from my dreams, therefore usually eliminating the chance of a good or normal plot line :p
Or ending, for that matter.
But yes. I just wanna say you’re cool.
Good day.
^.^
Liam, Head Phil
/ December 12, 2012Just checked out your blog and it looks great! Don’t sell yourself short just yet. And I’ve gotten numerous story ideas from dreams, though mostly just concepts, not plotlines.
Thanks for letting me know!
kittipurrik
/ December 12, 2012I’m honored that you would check out my blog
thank you :3
Liam, Head Phil
/ December 12, 2012I’m honored that you would check out mine. I check out the blogs of anyone who comments, and if you comment regularly, I’ll even follow it and do the same to you.

/ January 24, 2013Am I mixing numbers up in my scrambled head or is “Who am I? 2-4-6-0-1!” les-miserables prison #? :0 # means number NOT HASHTAG you pop-cultured peoples -_- … I hate finding blogs because then I have past posts to read (millions and millions of them) and NEVER get my work done. I am the QUEEN of that. NEVER GETTING WORK DONE…. If you ever wanna know a milllion (exaggeration- the most i could come up with is probably 10. LOL) ways to slack-off when you are supposed to be studying. Call me! I’m gen-uis at it. Or not considering the fact that i don’t study…… In fact I might write a blog post dedicated to slackers. CALLED IT BRO.
Im not a psycho I know you aren’t my real brother
Liam, Head Phil
/ January 24, 2013Yes, that is a Les Miserables reference. Good job!
I apologize if I’m causing you to procrastinate, but rest assured I will contact you if I ever need ways to do so myself.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 13, 2013We’re all here to procrastinate.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013Indeed.
Amanda
/ February 26, 2013*Chuckles* Howdy, Tiff. I see I convinced you.
I can’t believe I didn’t see that until now…
Robyn Hoode
/ February 14, 2013What kind of music?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013Excuse me?
Robyn Hoode
/ February 14, 2013Ah! The comment didn’t get stuck in the right spot! I was asking what you play on the piano.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013Music, usually.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 14, 2013Except when you’re learning a new song and are then banging a cacophony onto the ivories.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013That has never happened to me.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 14, 2013I don’t believe that. Surely you can not honestly tell me that you see new music and instantly play it perfectly.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013Well… Not instantly. It takes a couple minutes to ingest the correct pitches.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 14, 2013I see. Well, that makes more sense. How long have you been playing?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013Four centuries now, though pianos weren’t perfected yet.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 14, 2013Hmm. I imagined you… younger. Are you an elf or something?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 14, 2013Nope. Just immortal.
nevillegirl
/ February 22, 2013I think he’s a vampire. The sparkly kind from Twilight, to boot. >:)
Robyn Hoode
/ February 22, 2013No, he’s not. He just immortal… maybe like Aragorn. I know he’s not immortal, but he was like 80 in the books.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 22, 2013It was an accident in the vegetable patch, actually. Horrid stuff, cabbages.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 22, 2013So… were you doing experiments or were you born in a cabbage patch? (Are you a Cabbage Patch Doll?)
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 22, 2013Neither. It was a rampant squid. The memories are too painful for me to continue.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 22, 2013A rampant squid in a cabbage patch? I think you’re making this up. I bet that you really were born in a cabbage patch. Cabbage Patch Dolls are probably immortal…
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 22, 2013You can believe what you like– join the other three mythologies based around me. Or rather, my hat.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 23, 2013You have THREE mythologies based around your hat and that has to do with how you are somehow immortal? Why does this sound like it could be a story also told by Perseus Jackson?
You were helping your mom in the garden, when you accidently summoned a squid with the smell of the cabbage you accidently stepped on. Your hat flew off your head and fell on top of the squid, instantly killing it because it was allergic to fedoras (or whatever hat it is). The gods offered you immortality, because offfering it to a hat sounded kinda… silly. You accepted their offer.
Or you are like Chiron, training heros for enternity. You trained the hat well.
Am I close?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 23, 2013Nope, but it isn’t the farthest from the truth I’ve heard.
orphu44
/ February 20, 2013You’ve been nominated for the “Seriously, What a Great Blog Award” … for a change.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 20, 2013*sarcastically* Well, that’s new! Thanks, but I’ll probably refuse.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 20, 2013Just a thought… should you choose to except, one of the rules is that you have to nominate Liam, so you’d have to nominate yourself… this sounds like a viscious sort of cycle.
orphu44
/ February 21, 2013Ah, well. Wouldn’t have expected anything more.
nevillegirl
/ February 22, 2013“A world of pure imagination” – seriously, Liam? It sounds a bit cliche. I liked “Creativity is abnormal” more. It made you think.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 22, 2013Perhaps I shall change it.
nevillegirl
/ February 23, 2013“Write, you fools!”
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 24, 2013That would work, except for the fact that I disapprove of calling one’s followers fools. Even if that is the case.
nevillegirl
/ February 24, 2013I wouldn’t have a problem with it.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 24, 2013I could call you just about anything and you wouldn’t mind.
nevillegirl
/ February 24, 2013I meant that I wouldn’t have a problem calling my own followers that. -_- Fool.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 25, 2013That would work too.
Amanda
/ February 26, 2013Oh my. So now I know 2 things:
1. Liam has a shred of decency after all.
2. Nevillegirl does not.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 26, 2013He he he. I hope Engie sees this.
Amanda
/ February 26, 2013Oh dear, Engie? What or who is that?
Robyn Hoode
/ February 26, 2013And that Liam is immortal, Amanda. But he’s not an elf or a vampire. And I’m fairly certain he’s not a dragon rider. Let’s see… what else is immortal that I could narrow down that he’s not?
Amanda Fischer
/ February 26, 2013True, Robyn. Very true.
A unicorn? But then, you’d think those would be too “girly.”
Robyn Hoode
/ February 26, 2013Engie is Nevillegirl, Amanda.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 26, 2013Initials = N and G. Make the individual sounds close together– NG becomes Engie. It’s easier to write than Nevillegirl.
Amanda
/ February 27, 2013Ohhhhhh. Hehe.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 28, 2013Indeed.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 26, 2013I don’t think he’d be a fairy, either… and I doubt he’d admit it if he was.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 26, 2013You’re so far from the truth you’ll need a plane to get back.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 26, 2013I can’t afford a plane ticket. That is a nice phrase “so far from the truth, you’ll need a plane to get back”… I suppose you’ve already pantented it?
Are you some other type of mythological creature? A dwarf? A phoenix? A basilisk?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 26, 2013I stole it from someone else. That’s the beauty of the English language.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 26, 2013Ah! And here I thought you had made it up!
You didn’t answer my other question.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 27, 2013I am not a magical creature, but I am also not a specimen to be studied at your will.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 27, 2013I’m not sure why I don’t just accept the fact that you are Jean Valjean. You said you were. I should just stop making stuff up and face fact. (Yes, Les Miserables is moving along. It’s a little less miserable now that we are doing something besides analizing the Bishop.)
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 27, 2013Valjean is far from immortal.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 27, 2013Then stop saying you are 2-4-6-0-1. It’s misleading.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 28, 2013It’s a quote, not the truth.
Amanda
/ February 27, 2013*throws hands in the air* OKAY, I give up trying to follow along.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 28, 2013I tried that once. Didn’t work.
Amanda
/ February 28, 2013How is that?
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 28, 2013Well, I’m kind of half the conversation here, and Robyn doesn’t seem to enjoy being ignored.
Amanda
/ March 1, 2013Ahhhh. Yup, makes sense now.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 28, 2013I enjoy having conversations. Hard to do that with one person. I’m curious to know what the response is. And you yourself said that you would respond to comments and be put out if I didn’t respond to you. So, it’s both ways.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 28, 2013Yep.
Meredith Waugh
/ February 27, 2013I can’t believe I’ve found another NaNo- writer! Marvelous. I tried to get nearly everyone I know involved, but, hey, I failed.
…So thumbs up! Also I love your blog. It was really fun to stalk.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 28, 2013Glad you’re enjoying yourself. I shall check out yours.
Meredith Waugh
/ March 1, 2013Thanks for checking out my blog, and thanks for using “shall” as the future first person verb.
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 1, 2013Yes! Another grammar nerd! I just used it because it sounds posh, but if it’s correct, that’s a bonus!
Meredith Waugh
/ March 4, 2013Well, actually “shall” is only correct in first person, but you could use “will”. I, like you, just like the effect.
So yes. Grammar nerd.
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 4, 2013I shall enjoy our correspondence.
Amanda
/ March 1, 2013I see I convinced ya.
Liam, I’m giving you a lot of business.
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 2, 2013Yes, you are. Keep it up.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 28, 2013So I still have no idea who or what you are.
Liam, Head Phil
/ February 28, 2013Yep.
Robyn Hoode
/ February 28, 2013*mutters and scowls while pacing*
Amanda
/ March 1, 2013Sad, isn’t it, Robyn?
Robyn Hoode
/ March 1, 2013Indeed.
Amanda
/ March 2, 2013Robyn Hoode
/ March 2, 2013It seemed appropriate.
Seana J. Vixen
/ March 4, 2013“Indeed” is probably one of the most infuriating responses someone can give to a comment….
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 4, 2013Indeed.
Seana J. Vixen
/ March 4, 2013I mean, really, how do you respond to that?
Robyn Hoode
/ March 4, 2013You either say “Indeed” back or don’t say anything, because I think it’s Liam’s way of saying the conversation has come to an end.
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 4, 2013Indeed.
Amanda
/ March 4, 2013Yes, I believe so.
Seana J. Vixen
/ March 4, 2013Why does he get to decide when the conversation stops?
Robyn Hoode
/ March 4, 2013His blog. And if you can’t think of anything else to say anyway, why not?
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 4, 2013Indeed.
Amanda
/ March 4, 2013Robyn Hoode
/ March 4, 2013Point and theory proven.
Amanda
/ March 5, 2013Indeed.
kittipurrik
/ March 12, 2013Liam, you’re my favorite. So I humbly offer you this award. May you accept it and live happily forever and ever.
//puts award at feet, keeps head down as backing away.
http://kittipurrik.wordpress.com/2013/03/12/ive-gotten-my-very-first-award/
Liam, Head Phil
/ March 13, 2013Wow! I’ve never had that approach before, but I still have to decline the award. Sorry!
Seana J. Vixen
/ April 14, 2013I’m obnoxiously excited that I finally understand your Les Mis reference in the post title since I watched the movie yesterday. Someday I may try to tackle that book, but I don’t think I could just yet.
Liam, Head Phil
/ April 14, 2013Good! Did you like the movie?
Seana J. Vixen
/ April 14, 2013Yes! I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so emotional over a movie before.
Is it accurate as far as the book goes?
Liam, Head Phil
/ April 14, 2013Extraordinarily so. Valjean’s story is all there, though they omit the fact that the Thenardiers (innkeepers) were completely evil and not just fools as they seem. But yes, all that about Fantine and Cosette, the revolution and Marius, all that is as it was in the book. The love story between Cosette and Marius is much longer in the book, though– in the musical, it seems that they see each other once and fall into everlasting love.
Seana J. Vixen
/ April 15, 2013That’s quite impressive that the movie so closely follows the book!
Liam, Head Phil
/ April 15, 2013It’s very impressive.
Seana J. Vixen
/ April 16, 2013So how is the book written? Is it told like a normal book is, or is it told in song?
Liam, Head Phil
/ April 17, 2013No, it’s normal. There are almost no direct quotes.
Robyn Hoode
/ April 16, 2013Les-Mis is not in song. It is written like a normal book.
Liam, Head Phil
/ April 17, 2013Of course.
Robyn Hoode
/ April 17, 2013I was trying to answer Seana’s question, not be random.
Liam, Head Phil
/ April 18, 2013I realize, but I can answer questions too.
Robyn Hoode
/ April 18, 2013I’m not saying that. I was refering to the “Of course”.
Liam, Head Phil
/ April 18, 2013That’s because I had just answered Miss Vixen’s question.
magicfishy
/ May 19, 2013Welp, time to go and attempt to read through this blog from the very beginning. I feel as though you have hundreds of posts, so this may take a while.
And yes, I got the Les Misérables reference.
Liam, Head Phil
/ May 21, 2013Over four hundred, to be precise. I hope you have a lot of time.
